Since inception, Interact has been devoted to providing clients with an open, standardized environment in which to operate everyday functionalities. And while published APIs have always been a part of this philosophy, we wanted to further define the categories into which the APIs fall in order to simplify the evaluation and acquisition process for our busy customers, hence Aperture.

In essence, Aperture is a select grouping of published, Java-based APIs that external systems can use to summon the most powerful inner workings of Interact's Liaison and Invigorate environments.

Currently included in the Aperture line-up are APIs relating to Customer Care, Replenishment, and E-Services (the name we give to external 3rd party systems that require direct subscriber account interaction; such as financial institutions and independent content providers).

This categorical construct makes it incredibly easy for service providers to seamlessly integrate multiple value add partners into their network and / or transparently enhance existing business management related system functionality.
