Post CCXML specification information

The SPOT SIP Engine(SPOT) contains a CallControlXML
(CCXML http://www.w3c.org/TR/ccxml/) engine which is
the centerpiece for handling inbound/outbound calls. CCXML is a
specification developed by the W3C organization and released as an open
standard. The SPOT CCXML interpreter is a conforming implementation of the
specification.

The CCXML interpreter provides the call management capabilities for
answering inbound calls, creating outbound calls, and switching them
together. It also provides the conferencing functionality for the
platform. CCXML is not designed to interact with the caller, but to
set up the call and audio paths such that a VoiceXML
(http://www.w3c.org/TR/voicexml21) dialog can be started for
the interaction. VoiceXML is also an open standard released by the W3C
organization. SPOT contains a conforming VoiceXML interpreter that is
utilized from the CCXML interpreter wherever a caller should be hearing
audio files, entering digits, or recording audio.

The combination of the CCXML/VoiceXML interpreters in the SPOT SIP Engine
gives you the flexibility to offer any caller experience desired.

Interact was instrumental in moving the W3C specification forward. Look for CCXML to become an official recommendation
within the next month.
