Interact Incorporated Integrates Video Support with their Latest Version 6.16 of SPOT

Interact's recently enhanced SIP-based SoftSPOT VoiceXML/CCXML Interpreter brings video support and new enhancements for high-density enterprises and carrier-grade service providers worldwide.

(Lincoln, Nebraska-USA) April 20, 2010: - Interact Incorporated, an enabler of premium voice and data solutions for carriers and enterprises worldwide, is pleased to announce enhancements to both their VIP (Voice and Information Processing) Platform Software and its SPOT branded VoiceXML/CCXML Media Platform with its latest release of software, V6.16.

With added video support, SPOT V6.16 enables recording, playback, and video bridging. The use of playback enables a "visual menu" option, where the IVR menu can now include not just traditional audio prompts, but a visual display of choices to go with the audio. With video technology added to the SPOT VoiceXML/CCXML Media Platform, developers can render video as easily as rendering audio content, providing a cost-effective complete interactive VoiceXML video solution. Interact's SPOT VoiceXML/CCXML Media Platform enables rapid development of robust applications with integrated video capabilities to meet demanding market requirements.

With the innate ability to virtually eliminate application load and memory penalties, thereby allowing applications to scale smoothly, Interact's newly updated SPOT V6.16 is able to process hundreds to thousands of call channels for automated telephony applications, such as: voice dialing, TTS and ASR processes, national directory assistance, conference calling, call recording, automated outbound dialing and more.
