Interact Incorporated Unveils a Flexible ‘Usage Based Pricing’ Plan for SPOT VoiceXML/CCXML Based Interpreter Set


Lincoln, Nebraska USA March 10, 2009- Interact Incorporated, a software company renown for developing high performance communication solutions for enterprises and operators across the globe, today unveiled their ‘Usage Based Pricing’ (UBP) model for their SPOT VoiceXML/CCXML based interpreter set.

With cash flow being a major concern for all businesses today, Interact is pleased to announce a Usage Based Pricing model designed to virtually eliminate the need for front end capital expenditures by offering a pricing program that helps hosted or managed services customers with usage based revenue better align their usage based expenses. The new UBP model will charge customers based on SPOT license usage per month on a pre-determined set number of ports. This flexibility allows customers access to additional licenses if needed, while at the same time only charging the customer for licenses used at the end of each month. By allowing customers the use of additional SPOT licenses during heavy traffic periods, SPOT’s Usage Based Pricing model addresses the issue of unpredictable call volume spikes generated by aggressive marketing campaigns, the deployment of new applications and the addition of new customers.

With maintenance, subscription access to the latest releases of SPOT, application redundancy and Interact’s INSA (Interact Network Status Application) product included in the UBP model, Interact’s SPOT is ideal for hosted facilities and customers whose revenue is based on usage. With the UBP model, upfront costs are virtually eliminated as the licensing expense works off a customer’s operating budget. Purchase options are available at the end of the customer’s term commitment.
